The book has been written with intention to primarily focus on the life, work and political philosophy of Vallabhbhai Patel commonly known as Sardar Patel. Sardar Patel's first major participation in public life was in Ahmedabad labour strike (1919), pledge taken against Rowlatt Act along with Gandhi followed by Klieda Struggle and Bardoli Struggle of 1927 likened to Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. Karachi Congress of 1931 presided over by Sardar Patel is known for the civil rights later on enshrined in the constitution of India on the recommendation of committee chaired by Sardar Patel. The book makes an attempt to show that, rights to the minority provided by the constitution owe itself to Sardar Patel.
