The tragedy is that Kameng was one sector where Indians could have defeated the Chinese, or at least given them a bloody nose, if only there had been a great general and a few good brigadiers on the Indian side to seize the opportunity. This book aims to analyse the Indian psyche and the failure of the Command, by focusing on the 1962 war in the overall historical context.
