Summary: Bibliography of Doctoral Dissertations is oris of the most important and unique publications of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) To start with, in the year 1970, AIU had published a retrospective bibliography, covering the period 1857 to 1970 in four volumes, Physical Sciences Biological Sciences. Social Sciences, and Humanities. Since then it has become a regular feature. In the Bibliographies brought out initially, the information about Doctoral Dissertations of Ph.D., DSc. D Phil, D Litt accepted by Indian Universities have been classified according to the Dewy Decimal Classification. With emergence of ICT, the classification has been made simpler according to subjects, in addition to the normal bibliographical details such as the name of the research scholar, title of the thesis, name of the guide, name of the department and university to which the thesis was submitted. This year, we have taken several initiatives at Association of Indian Universities to make the organization more relevant and useful to the practitioners and stakeholders of higher education. A tie-up with INFLIBNET for applying QR codes to Bibliographies is most significant amongst all of them. The QR Codes given at each citation is a type of quick link which will enable the readers to decode and access the full theses if it is upload- ed by INFLIBNET Website under Shodhganga Project. The AIU Library (Now known as AIU Information Resource Centre in Higher Education) is a research Library in the field of higher education and is popular for its collection of different Government Commission/Committee Reports: and other government policy documents. The annual reports, calendars, handbooks and Acts of various universities and Supreme Court of India Judgments in the field of education are available in the AIU Information Resource Centre apart from its own publications which cover a vast range of titles. The AIU Information Resource Centre is mostly used by the scholars, national as well as international in the field of education as a discipline and by the students seeking admission to the higher education.
