The book highlights the rich traditions of CRPF mentioning the difficult conditions under which it functions either at the dizzy heights of Jammu & Kashmir, scorching deserts of Rajasthan or inhospitable terrain and adverse climatic conditions of the North-Eastern region. Besides dealing with the `Imperatives of Future' in the CRPF for improvement in its functioning in the times to come, it also brings out the shortcomings of the set up without concealing its anguish. |
